Case-study – Seeding "Why Choose Bupa"
Earlier in the summer Bupa came to us with a brief to help promote their Health Care to small and medium sized businesses, (SMEs). With that brief we created the following video, using a mixture of live action video and motion graphics to tell the story.
Bupa put the video live on YouTube and we offered our seeding services to help give the video a kickstart and be seen by new audiences. When our seeding strategy began the video had received less than 200 views, and wasn’t really achieving its maximum potential. However just three weeks after we started our seeding campaign for this video we had managed to increase the view count to almost 33,000, and since then the view count has continued to grow organically which is great news.
Bupa’s website also saw a direct spike in their website traffic, meaning the video not only gained them exposure on Youtube, but also as direct traffic on their site, which in turn could have led to new sales that they otherwise may not have encountered.
Naturally Bupa were really pleased with the results of both the video production and the seeding, and we are hoping to be working with them again in the future.
If you are planning on commissioning any video or animation content, try and set aside some budget for seeding as well as production, as it can be the key to the success of your marketing campaign.
